I've worked on a lot of projects, not all of them are so easily categorized.
From website design to cataloging a collection I can do it all.
event planning - art party, atlanta contemporary
In one of my more exciting freelance projects I was hired on by the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center to assist in the planning of their annual fundraiser Art Party! This fundraiser was also celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Atlanta Contemporary. My largest task for this event was planning and coordinating the programming for the event- as Art Party was themed alchemy, we wanted to focus the programming on infusing alchemy into what we planned. The night had an interactive community mural, tarot readings, aura photography, and to cap off the night with a bang- an iron sparkle pour! Event planning is an underutilized skill set of mine that I find a lot of joy in. You can read more about the event here in an article by Rough Draft Atlanta.
website design - agnes scott college
In the fall of 2021 I created a new system for the permanent collection of Agnes Scott college. My goal is to make the work more accessible to our campus community. The system is centered around QR codes on all labels of permanent collection work across campus, these QR codes direct to a public facing permanent collection database. This database is the framework for information on the works and student scholarship created around the works. While the system is in its first stages, my vision is to work with students interested in archival and art historical work to build out a robust database of knowledge on the artwork created by students. The permanent collection is now under new management and the website has moved into a new direction, but I still enjoy the fill gap website I created.
Katherine Smith contacted me about developing a professional site for her work in preparation for highly anticipated book release this spring. I designed and launched a site that reflected her personal style and showcased her work in a clean and modern site. You can see her site at katherineasmith.com
I refreshed the Dalton Gallery website in the Fall of 2019 and set up a new system for tagging and navigation. You can see the full site daltongallery.agnesscott.org
